ASPIRING YOUTH ACADEMY

Empower Arizona youth with your tax credit today

Founded in 2016, Aspiring Youth Academy (AYA) is a nonprofit organization serving Arizona teens ages 14–18, primarily in Maricopa County. AYA was created in response to urgent economic challenges facing Arizona youth and a lack of access to entrepreneurship education, financial literacy, leadership development, and mentorship needed to break cycles of poverty.

One of the ways we accomplish this goal is by supporting the dreams of students who wish to become entrepreneurs through Aspiring Youth Academy programs. The Academy was founded by past Presidents of the Phoenix 20-30 Club to operate the camp programs.

DONATE TO SUPPORT ARIZONA TEENS

Your donation helps ensure that no qualified student is denied access to life-changing programs because of their inability to pay. AYA equips teens with the skills, confidence, and support to turn ideas into opportunities—through entrepreneurship education, leadership development, mentoring, and critical life skills.

ARIZONA TAX CREDITS: DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT

Aspiring Youth Academy qualifies for two Arizona state tax credits:

  • Arizona Charitable Tax Credit (QCO)

  • Arizona Foster Care Tax Credit (QFCO)

These credits allow Arizona taxpayers to direct a portion of their state taxes to qualifying nonprofits—often at no additional cost beyond what you would have paid in state income taxes.

How it works

  • Donate any amount (up to the annual limits listed below)

  • Claim the credit on your Arizona tax return (Form 321 for QCO; Form 352 for QFCO) (Arizona Department of Revenue)

  • Your credit reduces your Arizona state tax liability dollar-for-dollar, which may increase your refund or reduce what you owe (depending on your situation)

Important: You can potentially claim both credits in the same year if eligible—one for QCO and one for QFCO. (Arizona Department of Revenue)
